Eurolink Ltd t/a Finest Foods is a fast-growing food wholesale company supplying high-quality frozen and ambient products to the UK food service and wholesale sector.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a confident, proactive and organised Internal Sales & Customer Service Executive to join our team in Edwalton, Nottingham.
About the Role
This is a varied, customer-focused sales role combining existing customer account support, outbound sales, new business prospecting and sales administration.
A key part of your role will be speaking with our existing customers to take and generate orders, maintain regular contact and identify opportunities to increase sales. You will also contact prospective B2B customers to introduce Finest Foods, qualify opportunities and book appointments for our sales team.
Alongside the sales element, you'll help ensure orders are processed accurately and provide the day-to-day customer service and administrative support needed to keep our growing business running smoothly.
This role would suit someone who enjoys speaking to customers, is confident picking up the phone, has a commercial mindset and is highly organised.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration & Customer Support
- Proactively contact existing customers by telephone, email and messaging to take and generate orders.
- Build positive, long-term relationships with customers through regular contact and excellent service.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer orders and introduce additional products from our range.
- Follow up with customers who have not ordered and encourage regular ordering.
- Process customer orders accurately using internal spreadsheets and accounting/order-processing systems.
- Handle customer queries and follow up on orders and deliveries.
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to help ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, order and sales records.
Sales Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research and identify prospective B2B customers within the foodservice and wholesale sectors.
- Make outbound prospecting calls to introduce Finest Foods and our product range.
- Engage with prospective customers, understand their requirements and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Qualify leads and book appointments or follow-up calls for the sales team.
- Follow up leads and enquiries by telephone and email.
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity and follow-ups.
- Support the sales team in consistently generating new business opportunities.
- Assist with quotations, product information, sales materials and account application forms.
- Work towards agreed sales and activity targets, including customer contact, prospecting and lead generation.
Sales Administration & Customer Service
- Manage day-to-day sales administration, including emails, telephone calls, documentation and order records.
- Maintain and update customer and supplier databases.
- Assist with booking and coordinating incoming shipments where required.
- Work closely with management and the wider sales team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide general sales and administrative support to the team as required.
Skills & Experience Required
We're looking for someone who is confident communicating with customers and comfortable balancing sales activity with accurate administration.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience in internal sales, telesales, customer service, account management or sales support.
- Confidence making outbound telephone calls to both existing and prospective customers.
- A professional and engaging telephone manner with strong written communication skills.
- A proactive approach to developing customer relationships and identifying sales opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good attention to detail, particularly when processing customer orders.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams.
- Experience using CRM, accounting or order-processing systems would be advantageous.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines within a fast-paced SME environment.
- A positive attitude towards sales and an interest in developing your commercial skills.
Desirable

- Foodservice or food wholesale
- Wholesale or distribution
- B2B internal sales
- QuickBooks or similar accounting/order-processing software
- CRM systems
- Working within a growing SME

Reporting Line
The position reports to the Directors and Office Management team and works closely with our sales team.
Package & Details
- 28,000 per year, depending on experience
- Monday–Friday working
- 37.5 hours per week
