You would be working with up-to-date leading diagnostic technology in a large, clean, well-lit modern workshop, offering our technicians complete space to work in, all complimented with a separate break room, complete with dining facilities and dart board!

Our aim is to offer the best possible in equipment and facilities, to allow our technicians to provide workmanship and service to the highest levels.
You would be working using latest diagnostic capabilities and other software, together with various other aftermarket diagnostic machines (Autel, Snap on and BOSCH). In a workshop that has a constant flow of updated specialist tools, access to manufacturer technical data, technical bulletins, testing information, online training and specific industry focused training courses as the aftermarket market develops and demands change.
Working conditions – You will have a dedicated work area with a two-post ramp, plenty space to work around and for tool boxes, with each area having airlines and fixed exhaust extraction facilities. Personal I-pads are used working in conjunction with the central GMS (garage management system) together the use of workshop pcs. In place is extensive insurance cover for all Technicians tools and toolboxes. A full branded uniform and safety work boots are provided being replaced when required, plus most importantly being part of an extended team, who work directly with the business owners.

With quarterly staff meetings, regular technician meetings and an annual appraisal structure in place, ongoing mentoring and assessments for development within your role.

- Working hours – Currently, Mon – Thurs 8.30am – 5.30pm. Fri – 8.30am – 4.30pm. No working weekends, a long Christmas to New Year closure, for family time!

What are we looking for?
Vehicle Technician – Experienced, Full-time, Permanent.
Location: Stourbridge
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum not bonus reliant – (based on experience)
We are looking for very much a team player who is a self-motivated Technician and will take ownership of their role. They can demonstrate a natural ability to communicate well and support their peers and team and enjoys all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance work, who will use their initiative, experience, and technical knowledge to ensure accurate first-time fixes to a high standard of service and repair workmanship.
Servicing and replacing timing belts, rebuilding the occasional engine rebuild and diagnosing electrical faults, in an efficient, timely manner and to liaise with the front of house service advisor team, giving feedback on technical information for customer invoicing.
Being familiar with brands such as Audi, BMW & Mercedes, JLR group and Ford vehicles, an MOT tester or EV trained, working with social media would be an advantage but is not essential, a passion for cars and a willingness to learn is!
