Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience and support the smooth operation of our establishment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Prepare food items in accordance with established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained.
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders accurately and delivering meals promptly.
- Uphold food safety standards by practising proper hygiene and handling procedures at all times.
- Assist with organising the dining area, ensuring it remains clean, tidy, and welcoming for guests.
- Support in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Maintain stock levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with general kitchen duties to support team operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and order management.
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are important qualities for success in this role.
- A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service are essential.
