Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in meal preparation for daily service, special events, or menu development
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and handled hygienically
- Monitor ingredients and supplies, notifying management of stock levels and shortages
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff as required
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a kitchen or restaurant environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings or weekends if required
- Previous experience in meal preparation, serving, or restaurant operations is desirable but not essential
