Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our Caribbean kitchen, creating authentic dishes and driving menu development. You'll manage kitchen operations, lead a team of chefs, and ensure high-quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Caribbean menus showcasing traditional flavors
- Lead kitchen team and manage rotas
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Create new recipes and menu items
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and costing
- Collaborate with suppliers and Operations Manager
*Requirements:*
- 5+ years' experience as a chef, with Caribbean cuisine expertise
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Formal culinary training (e.g., culinary school diploma)
- Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and time management
- HACCP or food safety certification
