Join one of North Yorkshire’s most respected automotive groups. Harvey Cooper Cars is looking for an experienced and driven Sales Executive to join our established team in Ripon. As part of the prestigious Alexanders Group, you will be joining a successful, family-owned business with an outstanding reputation for exceptional vehicles, knowledgeable team and first-class customer service. This is an opportunity for an accomplished sales professional to represent a carefully selected range of prestige vehicles while becoming part of a wider group known for operating at the highest level of the motor industry. The role You will manage the complete customer journey, from the first enquiry through to vehicle presentation, negotiation and handover.
This will include:
- Responding professionally and promptly to telephone, online and showroom enquiries Building genuine relationships with customers and understanding their individual requirements
- Presenting vehicles with confidence and showing exceptional product knowledge Conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives
- Managing every stage of the sales process through to completion Following up enquiries and maintaining an active sales pipeline
- Working towards individual and departmental sales targets Ensuring every customer receives the high standard of service expected across the Alexanders Group
- Supporting the presentation and continued success of the Harvey Cooper Cars showroom
About you
We are looking for someone who is professional, personable and commercially driven, with a proven ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
You will need:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in prestige automotive sales
- Strong knowledge of prestige and performance vehicles
- A proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- The confidence to work with knowledgeable and discerning customers
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive approach to managing enquiries and generating opportunities
- A full UK driving licence
