Established in 2015, we serve homeowners and businesses across Kent and Essex, including Maidstone, Dartford, Canterbury, Colchester, and Southend. We specialise in high-quality property repair and refurbishment services.
We are seeking a Human Resources Officer to support our workforce operations, employee relations processes and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage recruitment activities including preparing job adverts, screening applicants and coordinating interviews.
- Support onboarding processes for new employees, including right-to-work checks and employment documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Provide advice and support to managers regarding employee relations matters.
- Assist with disciplinary, grievance and absence management procedures.
- Support workforce planning for construction projects.
- Monitor employee engagement and workplace issues.
- Assist with training coordination and staff development activities.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce statistics for senior management.
- Support compliance with UK employment legislation.
- Liaise with site managers regarding workforce requirements, labour planning and employee matters.
- Assist with maintaining positive industrial relations across the organisation.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or Master's qualification in Human Resources, Management, Business Management, or related subject.
- Knowledge of HR processes and employment practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential employee information.
- Good organisational and analytical skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
