Part-Time Cleaning Operative
Location: Southern Court, South St, Reading RG1 4QS
Key Holder - 2 hours a week
Working Hours: Every Tuesday - 6pm to 8pm.
Clarkes Cleaners is seeking seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team in Reading. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in an office environment, ensuring that all areas are presentable and welcoming. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, kitchens, communal spaces and toilets.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, and other fixtures.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning offices is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid DBS check or willing to obtain one.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
