Stephens Smartwaste is looking for a hardworking and conscientious multi drop delivery driver. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering and exchanging wheelie bins throughout Wigan and surrounding areas.
Previous driving experience is preferred although not essential providing the candidate shows a willingness to learn.
Requirements for the role:
- 25 years of age or older (due to insurance policy requirements)
- Standard drivers license holder
- Must be physically fit as this is a fairly active role
- Have a good knowledge of Wigan and its surrounding areas
- Display excellent customer service skills, being polite and helpful at all time
- Be reliable and punctual
- Maintain a professional manner while representing the company
- Show a commitment to health and safety standards
- Be able to work Monday to Friday, with no weekend work
- Be able to commit to early morning starts (4am - Finish)
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering & exchanging wheelie bins along designated routes
- Interacting professionally with customers during deliveries
- Completing necessary paperwork & ensuring accurate records are maintained
- Operate all tasks adhering to company health & safety procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.21 per hour
