The University of Lincoln is seeking enthusiastic and committed Social Work professionals to join our growing Social Work team within the School of Health and Care Sciences.
This is an exciting opportunity for two registered Social Workers who are passionate about practice, education and developing the future workforce. Whether you are already working within higher education or are considering a move into academia for the first time, we would love to hear from you.
We have two posts available, HLSS2161 and CSS590 are both permanent and full-time at 1 FTE.
You will join a supportive and ambitious team delivering the BSc (Hons) Social Work Practice and BSc (Hons) Social Work Apprenticeship programmes. The Social Work portfolio continues to grow and plays an important role in supporting workforce development across Lincolnshire and the wider region.
You will contribute to teaching, assessment, academic tutoring and practice learning support across the Social Work curriculum, helping students to develop the knowledge, skills and values required for contemporary Social Work practice. Working collaboratively with colleagues, students and practice partners, you will help shape an outstanding learning experience and support students to achieve their full potential.
We recognise that many excellent Social Workers may be considering higher education for the first time. If you are an experienced practitioner with a passion for supporting others to learn and develop, we will provide the support, mentorship and professional development needed to help you build a successful academic career.
The School of Health and Care Sciences is a vibrant interdisciplinary community with strong partnerships across health, social care and the voluntary sector. Alongside teaching responsibilities, there will be opportunities to contribute to curriculum development, scholarly activity, educational contract work, knowledge exchange and research, depending on your interests and experience.
