Overview
Join MKG Building Services as a dynamic and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will oversee maintenance activities across customers facilities, ensuring that equipment, systems, and infrastructure are maintained and compliant. Your proactive approach will help minimise downtime, optimise resources, and support the overall departments performance and ensure clear communication between customers, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all helpdesk communications, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Raise, coordinate and schedule planned and reactive maintenance activities for optimal planning and resourcing.
- Keep customers fully informed on visit dates, job status, additional works and follow up actions.
- Coordinate sub-contractors visits, check progress and ensure works are completed.
- Manage and maintain the on-call rota.
- Update MKGs software platform to track all planned and reactive maintenance requests, job materials, schedules and completion.
- Support continuous process improvements maintenance workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing best practices.
- Oversee procurement of maintenance supplies, parts, and equipment to ensure timely availability.
- Maintain accurate records including SLAs, scheduled time, technical reports, test certificates, and compliance documentation.
- Check and approve supplier and subcontractor invoices.
- Prepare and issue minor works quotations to customers.
Skills
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Confident using a maintenance or asset management software platform.
- Strong organisation from planning, through to execution and final invoice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers, engineers, sub contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet Service levels and maintenance priorities.

Pay: £29,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
