Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by replenishing supplies, disinfecting fixtures, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Handle waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and waste is disposed of properly.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by supervisors.
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards maintaining hygiene standards.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift.
