Summary
We are seeking a qualified Dental Nurse and Receptionist to join our team at Smileology - Barming Dental Centre. We are searching for a passionate, dynamic, driven and proactive team player who is patient-focused with the skills and confidence to approach new and existing patients. This role involves supporting clinical staff and managing front desk responsibilities to ensure a seamless patient experience, while also meeting deadlines and working within targets. The position offers an opportunity to grow within a forward-thinking team committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians during procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Assisting with maintenance of the surgeries, equipment and the practice.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient records efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service at the reception desk.
- Support patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions.
- Ensure the clinical environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Handle administrative tasks related to patient care and practice management.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Qualifications
- Qualified Dental Nurse certification.
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred.
- Customer service/front of house experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the practice, including travelling between sites.
- Driving license preferred.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
