We are looking for an Lorry Mechanic to work within our existing team to maintain our internal fleet of Lorry's alongside additional 6 weekly and other retail work, the majority of the work is routine 6 weekly servicing and prepping for MOT's and there are lots of opportunities to build on the role for the right applicant.
The successful applicant will operate from our commercial workshop with plenty of specialist equipment to compliment your own tools, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company’s fleet and the company will put you through additional manufactures training if required.
You will be working on 4,6 and 8 Wheel Tippers, Muckaway HIAB Lorries along with Flat Bed and Articulated Delivery Lorries.
You will need the following:
- Relevant HGV Repair Experience
- Computer Diagnostic Experience
- Air Conditioning Service Experience/Qualification
Responsibilities
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems, including air conditioning.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Salary: £16.00 - £20.00 per Hour dependent on age and experience.
