What you’ll bring to the team
- Hold an NVQ level 3 in Care
- Possess hands-on experience or relevant qualifications in the safe handling of medicines
- Proficient in effective communication across all levels
- Demonstrates a sincere interest in working with our specific client group
- Successfully passed DBS screening
- Thrives as a collaborative team player
- Demonstrate eagerness to engage in vocational training programs, continually enhancing skills and knowledge
- Display initiative and autonomy

Millfield Nursing Home prides itself on the warmth of its welcome and the high standards of its care, delivered in comfortable, modern surroundings across four houses.We deliver nursing care for people who need 24-hour personal support and for those with a condition that requires specialised nursing care, convalescence care for people recovering from surgery or illness, as well as kind and respectful palliative care.
Residential care is available for people who find it difficult to cope at home without assistance, including people living with dementia or a related condition.
Our young physically disabled unit offers specialist facilities and care for a wide range of disabilities and needs.
We also provide expert 24-hour care for people with Huntington’s and Parkinson’s, delivering personal care and daily activities to stimulate both the mind and body.
