Excell Supply is currently recruiting for confident, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Conwy. These roles are available from September and offer an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and supporting their learning in a classroom environment.
The Role:
- Cover Supervisor positions available across Conwy
- September start
- Full-time and part-time opportunities
- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supporting students to remain engaged and on task throughout lessons
- Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people in any setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence managing groups of students
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
- A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
