Castleton Coffee Co. is an ethical, community-driven coffee brand based in the heart of the Peak District. We serve barista-made coffee, locally roasted beans, and freshly prepared food in warm, welcoming spaces inspired by the landscape around us.
As part of The Northern Collective — an independent hospitality, retail, and leisure group with venues across South Sheffield and the Peak District — we are proud to create spaces where people feel supported, communities are celebrated, and quality always comes first.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Full Time & Part Barista to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about coffee, hospitality, and creating memorable customer experiences in a community-focused setting.
Key Responsabilities:
- Preparing and serving high-quality barista-made drinks
- Providing warm, attentive customer service
- Supporting with food preparation and service
- Keeping the café clean, organised, and welcoming
- Sharing knowledge of our products with customers
- Working as part of a supportive team to deliver a great guest experience
About You:
- A positive, friendly, and approachable attitude
- Passion for coffee and hospitality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Availability to work weekends
- Previous barista or café experience is helpful, but not essential if you’re eager to learn
- A genuine interest in community, quality, and customer experience
