Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist / Service Advisor to join our busy garage team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent customer service while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area. This role involves booking vehicles into the workshop, answering customer enquiries, ordering parts, and producing invoices.
Duties
- Greet customers and provide a professional and welcoming service.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries.
- Book vehicles in for MOTs, servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.
- Liaise with technicians regarding vehicle repairs and customer updates.
- Prepare and produce customer invoices accurately.
- Process payments and maintain customer records.
- Order vehicle parts from suppliers and monitor deliveries.
- Maintain workshop schedules and manage booking diaries.
- Handle email enquiries and administrative tasks.
- Ensure all customer information is recorded accurately.
- Assist with general office duties, including filing, scanning, and document preparation.
- Support the team in maintaining efficient daily garage operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a receptionist, service advisor, or customer service role is desirable.
- Experience within the motor trade would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent telephone manner and professional attitude.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and garage management systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with invoicing, booking systems, and ordering parts would be beneficial.
- Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
