Purchasing Administrator
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and looking for a varied role within a growing business? We're looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our friendly team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with suppliers, solving problems and playing a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience.
As part of our Purchasing team, you'll work closely with suppliers and colleagues across the business to ensure purchase orders are processed accurately, deliveries are on schedule and our procurement processes run smoothly.
Duties
- Raise and process purchase orders accurately.
- Check order acknowledgements and monitor supplier communications.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding order confirmations, lead times and deliveries.
- Track supplier orders and ensure products arrive on schedule.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to meet customer expectations.
- Prepare supplier performance reports and provide general procurement administration.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Purchasing team.
Qualifications & Experience
We're looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a busy office environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence handling customer and supplier conversations over the phone and via email.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional, resilient and customer-focused approach.
- Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems.
- Previous purchasing experience (minimum 2 years).

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
