- Ensure safe food storage, regularly monitoring refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
- Support kitchen team members, providing guidance on food preparation and hygiene practices.
- Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Support menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal updates
- Manage stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise food wastage
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, including training and mentoring
- Monitor food quality and consistency during service
- Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently during busy service periods
- Work hours 8am - 2pm Monday - Friday
