Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting us in the construction and development of our music studios. The Labourer will be responsible for assisting with general tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, equipment, and supplies
- Support the movement of goods around the site using manual handling techniques or machinery where appropriate
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, organising tools, and setting up equipment as required
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning tools and equipment to ensure safety standards are met
- Support team members with specialised tasks as directed by supervisors
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to minimise risks on site
- Contribute to maintaining a tidy, organised, and hazard-free environment at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring or manual handling role is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and reliability with a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Basic understanding of health and safety
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
