Caretaker & Facilities Coordinator
Hours: 25–30 hours per week (flexible & will consider a job share)
Salary: £15.00–£17.00 per hour (£29,250–£33,150 FTE equivalent)
Location: Kent Neuro Therapy Centre, Canterbury.
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Caretaker & Facilities Coordinator to work at Kent Neuro Therapy Centre.
Job purpose:
The Caretaker is responsible for ensuring that Kent Neuro Therapy Centre is maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, clean, secure, and welcoming environment for members, visitors, volunteers, and staff.
The postholder will undertake a range of maintenance, health and safety, security, facilities, and site management duties to support the effective day-to-day operation of the Centre.
The postholder will have responsibility for supporting the Centre’s wider health and safety obligations, carrying out and recording essential daily, weekly, and monthly health and safety checks, inspections, and monitoring activities to ensure the Centre remains safe, compliant, and fit for purpose for all users. The postholder will also be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, monitoring, and safe operation of the hydrotherapy pool, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements and maintaining a high-quality environment for members and staff.
The Caretaker & Facilities Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that the Centre’s facilities are well maintained, fit for purpose, and reflective of the organisation’s values. Through proactive maintenance, effective problem solving, and a commitment to high standards, the postholder will contribute to a positive experience for everyone accessing the Centre’s services.
