Senior Crash Repair & Paint Specialist
- Schedule: Part-Time (3 days per week)
- Pay Rate: £150+ per day (depending on experience)
- Target Candidate: Fully qualified panel beater / painter capable of working independently on complex jobs.
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Crash Repair Specialist & Automotive Painter to manage complex structural repairs, high-end bodywork, and full refinishing projects. You will take ownership of jobs from structural pulling through to final clearcoat and polishing, maintaining top-tier quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute panel beating, chassis alignment, and welding (MIG/TIG) on complex accident damage.
- Perform precision color matching, mixing, and spray painting (waterborne basecoat and clearcoat).
- Conduct final quality inspections, flat-and-polish operations, and detail work.
- Assist in mentoring junior shop staff and maintaining spray booth equipment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in collision repair and automotive refinishing (NVQ Level 3 or ATA certified preferred).
- Expert knowledge of vehicle structural repair, prep, and paint systems.
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
