Harrogate | £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
About Us
We are a premium care home based in Harrogate, dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment. Our reputation for quality is built not just on the care we provide, but on the relationships we foster with residents, families, and the wider community. We're now looking for a talented Customer Relationship Manager to help us continue delivering an outstanding experience for every family who chooses us.
The Role
As Customer Relationship Manager, you will be the vital link between our care home and the families we serve - from the very first enquiry through to ongoing support once a resident has moved in. You'll play a key role in shaping first impressions, building trust, and ensuring every family feels informed, valued, and confident in their choice of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective residents and their families, handling enquiries with warmth, professionalism, and empathy
- Conduct show-rounds and consultations, showcasing our facilities and care philosophy
- Guide families through the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and stress-free transition
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with residents and their families throughout their time with us
- Act as a liaison between families and our care and management teams, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and effectively
- Gather and act on feedback to continuously improve the resident and family experience
- Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare professionals, social workers, and community partners to support occupancy and referrals
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, tours, and conversions using our CRM system
- Represent the home at local events, open days, and community engagement activities
- Support marketing efforts by providing insight into family needs and feedback
About You
- Proven experience in a customer relationship, sales, or client-facing role — experience within care, healthcare, or a related sector is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with genuine warmth and empathy
- A professional, polished manner with the ability to build trust quickly with families during an emotionally significant time
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple relationships and enquiries simultaneously
- Confident using CRM systems and comfortable with day-to-day administrative tasks
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (for local networking and community engagement)
What We Offer
- Salary of £40,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
- The opportunity to make a genuine difference to residents and families during an important life transition
- A supportive, close-knit team environment within a premium care setting
- Ongoing training and professional development
