Job Overview
We are seeking a trainee or skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities
- Operate a range of machining tools and equipment with precision to produce specified components
- Monitor production processes, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support sewing operations if applicable, including fabric cutting or assembly tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role
- Warehouse experience is desirable, demonstrating familiarity with stock handling and organisation
- Basic sewing skills are advantageous for roles involving fabric or textile components
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Awareness of health and safety regulations within manufacturing environments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules
