Warehouse / Relief Driver (Category C1 (7.5t))
Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual looking for a varied
warehouse / driving role.
Responsibilities include:
· To provide an effective, efficient and flexible service to all suppliers, customers and colleagues alike, through carrying out all functions relating to the warehouse,
· Order scheduling and assembly, replenishment, picking, invoicing, stock enquiries and administration.
· To ensure accurate checking (both manual and computerized) and other associated procedures relating to goods received and goods dispatched.
· To cover internal product movements and holiday cover for deliveries.
· To promote a positive company image through your accuracy, knowledge and attitude to the job
· Accurate and efficient picking of orders and completion of paper work
· To ensure incoming and outgoing loads are dealt with efficiently and comply to safety and legal requirements
· Monitor stock levels
· Ensure that all goods are stored under the appropriate conditions
· To ensure that all waste, losses and damage are kept to a minimum
Job Requirements:
Essential:
Good communication and organisational skills
Driving Licence (Category C1)
A team player with experience in working to deadlines
Can work on their own initiative and to work within a team
Have a proven high level of productivity
Must have previous warehouse experience
Desirable:
Manual Handling training
Counter balance forklift licence
Job Duties:
- Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
- Internal product movements between warehouses
- Cover for delivery drivers
- Move and stack materials
- Rotate floor stock
- General housekeeping duties
- Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
- Use common warehouse management software
- Receive/process shipments
