Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a stable, day-based role with no nights out? LME Recruitment Limited is partnering with a leading company in Basildon to find a professional and reliable driver to join their team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Collecting and delivering HGV Class 1 vehicles and trailers locally (no nights out)
Shunting vehicles and trailers in the yard using a tug vehicle
Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and safe at all times
Valeting and maintaining the cleanliness of trucks and trailers
Liaising with customers in a professional and friendly manner
️ Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects
About You:
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
