Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a specialized ventilation manufacturing team in Coventry. You will be responsible for creating bespoke products, including ductwork and silencers, taking projects from raw galvanised sheet to a finished product.
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:30
- Friday: 08:00 – 15:30 (Early finish)
Key Responsibilities
- Bespoke Fabrication: Manufacture ventilation components from galvanised steel (0.9mm to 3.0mm thickness).
- Machine Operation: Safely use hydraulic presses and cutting machines to bend and shape metal.
- Technical Execution: Interpret and work accurately from detailed technical drawings.
- End-to-End Production: Manage the full fabrication process from initial sheet layout to the final product.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven background in sheet metal work, specifically within the ventilation or ductwork trade.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using industrial cutting and bending machinery.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy materials and tools daily.
- Teamwork: A reliable professional who excels in a small, collaborative team environment.
