We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals in a care setting. The role involves offering support to individuals to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist service users with daily tasks such as personal care.
- Administer medication to service users
- Provide emotional support and companionship to service users
- Help service users engage in social activities and outings
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the well-being of service users
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Trained in medication administration or willing to learn
