We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient and Ward Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient and Ward Team in Phoenix Hospital Chelmsford, part of Phoenix Hospital Group. This part-time, permanent position is essential for providing high-quality patient care in both outpatient and ward settings. Reporting to the Ward Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice.
Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in outpatient and ward settings.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the management of ward operations, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably in outpatient and ward settings.
- Strong understanding of nursing principles, practices, and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in using electronic health records and other healthcare technologies.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing.
