St. Chamond’s is a well-established, family-run nursing home providing high-quality care to elderly residents in Prestatyn, North Wales. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave from 1 July 2026, expected to last between 9 and 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of nursing care to elderly residents.
- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans.
- Carry out ongoing assessments and monitor residents’ health and wellbeing.
- Administer medication in line with NMC guidelines and home policies.
- Manage and support residents with chronic health conditions.
- Supervise, support, and guide care staff in day-to-day practice.
- Promote dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life for all residents.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Strong clinical skills and sound judgement.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in elderly care or a nursing home environment (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work days and nights on a rota, including some weekends and bank holidays.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a genuine commitment to person‑centred care.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
