Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Colour Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for colour, excellent customer service skills, and a flair for beauty and styling. This role involves delivering personalised colour treatments, providing expert advice, and ensuring clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. The Colour Technician will also support store management and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for all clients. Responsibilities
- Perform customised colour consultations and treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Apply colour techniques including tinting, bleaching, and highlighting with precision and creativity
- Deliver additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other specialised treatments
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with clients professionally and courteously
- Assist with store management tasks, including maintaining stock levels and organising appointments
- Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in colour techniques and customer care
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety throughout the salon or store environment
- Support front desk operations by managing bookings, answering enquiries, and ensuring smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in store management or beauty-related roles such as barbering or makeup artistry is desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, colour theory, and styling techniques
- Demonstrated ability in upselling products or services to optimise sales performance
- Previous experience in customer service roles within a retail or salon environment is advantageous
- Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure precise colour application and client satisfaction
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a friendly demeanour
- A recognised qualification in beauty therapy or related fields is preferred but not essential
