Self-Employed Waste Van Driver
Location: Glasgow & Lanarkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Self-Employed Waste Van Driver to carry out waste collections across Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
The role will involve completing scheduled collections, transporting waste safely from A to B and operating a mini skip loader. You will be responsible for completing your daily routes efficiently while providing a professional and dependable service to our customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Collecting and transporting waste between customer sites and disposal facilities
- Driving and operating a mini skip loader
- Completing scheduled collections throughout Glasgow and Lanarkshire
- Loading and unloading waste safely
- Carrying out basic vehicle safety checks
- Following all relevant health, safety and waste-handling procedures
- Maintaining a professional and helpful approach when dealing with customers
What We’re Looking For
- A valid UK driving licence
- Previous waste collection, van driving or multi-drop driving experience is preferred but not essential
- Good knowledge of Glasgow and Lanarkshire
- Reliable, punctual and able to manage a busy collection schedule
- Physically capable of completing loading and collection duties
- A professional and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily routes
This is a self-employed position, working Monday to Friday from approximately 8:30am until 5:00pm.
We offer competitive rates and consistent weekday work for the right person.
Pay: £12.71-£23.06 per hour
