Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Stores person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional attention to detail & organizational skills when working in our environment. This position requires a blend of operational knowledge, particularly in materials handling and warehouse management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed.
- Load and unload merchandise as required.
- Hejp with inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
- Handle materials efficiently, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving goods.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to manage stock movement within the store.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred, with a focus on stocking and materials handling.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and basic maintenance tasks is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
