About the Role
Affinity Flying Services is seeking an experienced Compliance Monitoring Manager to join our Safety & Compliance team at RAF Cranwell & RAF Barkston Heath. Reporting directly to the Managing Director/Accountable Manager, you will be responsible for leading and continuously developing the organisation’s compliance monitoring systems in support of CAA approvals and ISO accreditation.
This is a senior management position with a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance across our aviation operations.
Salary up to £80,000 (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the organisation’s compliance monitoring system
- Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with CAA, MAA, Part 145, CAMO, and ISO 9001 requirements
- Maintain staff authorisation systems and regulatory records
- Produce compliance reports and escalate issues to senior leadership
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and key stakeholders
- Support development of company procedures, manuals, and expositions
- Promote a strong safety and compliance culture across the business
About You
Essential Experience
- Experience within a Part 145 and/or CAMO Compliance environment
- Strong knowledge of civil and military airworthiness regulations
- Experience in audit planning, delivery, and root cause analysis
- Background in aircraft maintenance (line or base)
- Proven ability to manage compliance functions and lead teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of MAA requirements
- Experience using Centrik or similar systems
- Familiarity with CAP 562 / military aviation regulation frameworks
Qualifications
- Ability to meet requirements for a CAA Nominated Post Holder position
- Recognised auditing qualification (e.g. IRCA ISO 9001) – desirable
- Full UK driving licence
