Wild Thang are Merchandise Experts who have been established since 1996. We are a dynamic forward thinking organisation looking for an Embroidery Machine Operator to join our expanding embroidery department.
In this role you will have the skills to utilise software to embroider and operate multi-head machinery in an efficient manner to meet production goals and to ensure high quality standards in every aspect of your work.

The individual will join our Embroidery team to contribute to the operating of the machines and will be involved in all aspects of quality control. Running, setting up and maintaining the single head, 8 head & 12 head embroidery machines
Checking customer job sheets for relevant information including logos, sizes and products. Setting the machines to the correct functions and loading with the correct materials. Liaising with the Line Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate embroidery machines to embroider logos, names, and designs on various garments
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of orders
- Inspect embroidered garments for quality and make adjustments to machines as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area, including changing thread colours, trimming excess threads, and troubleshooting minor machine issues
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency

Physical demands
Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly lift, sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch
8am-5pm Monday – Thursday; 8.30am-4pm Friday
20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
