We are seeking a reliable and experienced class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short and long distances while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload cargo following proper procedures
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Excellent driving record with no traffic violations
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Ability to drive long hours and travel long distances
- Strong customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills:
- Proficient in driving trucks
- Commercial driving experience
- Previous work as a Delivery Driver is a plus
- Familiarity with Flatbed trucks is advantageous
