We are currently looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team.
This is a vital role within the heart of the hotel. You will help keep our kitchen running smoothly, supporting our chefs and ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation are maintained throughout service.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter you will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping the team deliver great food in a clean and well-organised environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans and utensils
- Keeping all kitchen areas tidy, organised and hygienic throughout service
- Assisting the chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Supporting the team during busy service periods to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and safe
- Helping to maintain high food safety and hygiene standards
About You
You don’t need years of experience – attitude and reliability are what matter most.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Hardworking and reliable
- Positive and willing to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who enjoys being part of a busy kitchen
- Proud of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant or kitchen environment is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
