Full-Time | Permanent | 35 Hours per Week

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Embroidery Operative to join our busy production team in Basildon.

The Role
As an Embroidery Operative, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality embroidered garments for a wide range of customers. Working with industrial multi-head embroidery machines, you'll ensure every order is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
No two days are the same, and you'll work closely with our production team to meet customer deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating industrial multi-head embroidery machines
- Preparing garments, threads, hoops, and production setups
- Running embroidery jobs efficiently to meet production targets
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the embroidery process
- Troubleshooting minor machine issues such as thread breaks and tension adjustments
- Reporting maintenance requirements when necessary
- Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer orders are completed on time
What We're Looking ForIdeally, you'll have:
- Experience operating industrial multi-head embroidery machines
- Knowledge of embroidery software (Wilcom experience is an advantage but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience hooping and framing a variety of garment types
- Good problem-solving skills and confidence troubleshooting embroidery machines
- A reliable, positive, and proactive approach to work

If you've worked in garment decoration, print production, manufacturing, or another hands-on production environment, we can provide full training.
Transferable skills include:
- Experience working with embroidery machines or garment decoration equipment
- Heat press experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence working with machinery
- The ability to follow production processes accurately
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn
