Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice/Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in dental nursing while working alongside experienced professionals. The successful candidate will assist with patient care, support clinical operations, and develop essential skills in a friendly and forward-thinking practice.
Working hours are from 39.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday shifts as required.

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures by preparing instruments and materials to ensure smooth clinical operations.
- Provide compassionate patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
- Maintain strict hygiene standards by sterilising equipment and ensuring clinical areas are clean and organised at all times.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records using IT systems, and managing patient correspondence.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Participate actively in training sessions to develop knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and patient care techniques.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members to foster a positive experience for everyone involved.

Other Requirements
- Successful completion of a DBS check
- Willingness to undertake Hepatitis B vaccination
