An opportunity to join a growing and dynamic company in South Somerset. Due to continued expansion, Wydale Plastics are looking for a full time Trimmer to join their busy Trimming department.
What you will do:-
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to trim a wide range of plastics products to the finished specification
- Clean and pack the finished products for dispatch
- Complete the relevant records using touch screen technology
- Undertake quality assurance test and checks as required
- Keep your work area in a clean and tidy condition
What you will need:-
- Experience of using power tools
- Good manual dexterity
- The ability to react positively to changing priorities
- The ability to follow written instructions
- A positive attitude to safety
- To be reliable, hardworking and conscientious
What you will receive:-
- £29,220 p.a. (£14.75 per hour) starting salary for 38 hour week of alternating early/late weekly shifts
- Up to £36,720 (£18.50 per hour performance based with experience).
- Shift times are Mon-Thurs 06:00-14:00 and 14:00- 22:00 and Friday 06:00-12:00 and 12:00-18:00
- 30 days holiday per year increasing with service to 33 days (Includes Bank holidays)
