Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate complex engineering projects within our infrastructure and civil development teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovative system designs, oversee project execution from conception to completion, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results. The Senior Project Engineer will utilize advanced technical expertise, project management skills, and industry knowledge to ensure projects meet specifications, deadlines, and budget requirements while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Develop detailed schematics, system designs, and construction documents using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools.
- Coordinate land surveying activities to gather accurate site data and incorporate findings into project plans.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively while monitoring progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, surveyors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project coordination.
- Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design intent and safety protocols.
- Utilize GIS tools such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping purposes during project planning phases.
- Prepare technical reports, system schematics, and technical documentation for project approval and record-keeping.
- Apply advanced mathcad calculations for system design validation and performance analysis.
- Maintain comprehensive project records, including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in project management within civil or infrastructure engineering environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, Mathcad, and CAD software suites.
- Strong understanding of land surveying techniques and their integration into design processes.
- Hands-on construction experience with a focus on system design, schematics development, and site supervision.
- Familiarity with industry standards for safety regulations and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and land survey data accurately.
