Acting Clinical Lead (Maternity Cover)
Job Title: Clinical Lead
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: £55.000
Purpose of role: To assist registered manager to ensure that there is effective leadership and management of the nursing care team.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Acting Clinical Lead to support our Registered Manager and lead our dedicated nursing and care teams during a maternity cover period. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills while making a real difference to the lives of our residents.
Brief job description:
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee medication management, clinical audits, and care planning.
- Support staff development, competency assessments, and training.
- Deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on nursing experience.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Competent in PEG feeding, wound care and phlebotomy.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional care and supporting others to succeed.
