About the Role
We are recruiting for a reliable and hands-on Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. You’ll be assembling mechanical and/or electronic components, working to technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality products are produced consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical or electronic components following technical drawings or written instructions
- Use a range of hand tools and power tools to complete tasks safely and accurately
- Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or quality issues
- Follow standard operating procedures and meet production targets
- Package, label, and prepare completed units for dispatch
- Report any defects, faults, or equipment concerns to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
About You
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, or workshop experience preferred but not essential
- Able to read basic technical drawings or follow written instructions
- Practical, hands-on, and confident using tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
