Working Pattern
We welcome applications from both full-time and part-time candidates. For part-time appointments, we anticipate a role of approximately 60% FTE, but we are happy to discuss working patterns that meet both the needs of the successful candidate and the business, including
- Shorter working days (e.g. school hours)
- Fewer full working days across the week
- A structured or staggered working pattern to suit individual needs
Some travel between UK offices and occasional visits to European locations may be required.

Lysander is a well-established construction and project management consultancy, founded in 2001 and employing approximately 135 people across the UK and Europe.
The business delivers project management, quantity surveying and cost consultancy services for a diverse client base.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role introduced to support the increasing volume of compliance and accreditation activity as the business grows.
Historically, compliance responsibilities have been shared across functions. This role will focus on coordinating, maintaining and improving compliance processes and accreditation activity, working closely with internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to organise and streamline existing processes, improve consistency, and support ongoing audit readiness across the organisation.
This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys working in a structured, detail-focused environment and is looking for a flexible opportunity within a supportive and growing business.
Team & Manager
Reporting to: Head of Bid Management
The role will work closely with stakeholders across Project Management, Operations, HR, Finance and senior leadership teams.
The Head of Bid Management retains overall accountability for compliance processes and governance, with this role providing day-to-day coordination and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain key accreditations including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CHAS, Achilles and Avetta
· Assist in the planning, preparation, and active participation in internal and external audits, ensuring documentation is consistently maintained, up to date, and readily accessible.
- Maintain a centralised compliance database and document repository
- Track renewal cycles, requirements and deadlines for all accreditations
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather and update compliance documentation
- Support the ongoing improvement and standardisation of compliance processes and templates
- Assist in monitoring compliance activities and maintaining records for governance purposes
- Provide administrative and organisational support to ensure ongoing audit readiness
- Contribute data and information to wider business reporting requirements (including ESG where required)
Success Measures (First 6–12 Months)
- Accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation maintained in a central location
- Successful coordination of accreditation renewals and audit activity
- Improved visibility and accessibility of compliance information
- Clear tracking of compliance requirements and deadlines

Skills
- Good understanding of compliance, governance or quality frameworks
- Exposure to ISO standards (particularly ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001)
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders across the business
- Proactive, reliable and methodical approach
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks while contributing as part of a team
Background
