We’re looking for reliable, hardworking Cleaners to join our on‑site team, helping us maintain exceptional standards across our student accommodation buildings. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that communal areas, cluster flats, individual studios, and shared facilities remain clean, safe and welcoming.
This is a hands‑on role within a friendly, supportive team—perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping busy. Our summer period is especially fast‑paced as we prepare rooms for new student arrivals, so you’ll need to be organised, proactive, and comfortable working to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all site cleaning standards are consistently maintained to a high level
- Clean communal areas including reception spaces, corridors, kitchens, bathrooms, and social spaces
- Support the busy summer turnaround, including deep cleans and room preparation
- Report maintenance issues and health & safety concerns promptly
- Replenish cleaning supplies and follow site cleaning schedules
- Work collaboratively with site teams and management
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude when interacting with residents and colleagues

What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience – ideally in accommodation, hospitality, or commercial environments
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, especially during the summer turnaround
- Friendly, professional manner when working around students and staff
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and health & safety guidelines
Working Hours
- This is a full‑time, 40‑hour working week.
- Shifts are 8 hours, scheduled between 06:00 and 16:30.
- Alternate weekend working is required, which includes:
- Saturday: Full‑day shift
- Sunday: 4‑hour shift
