Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a sense of community and belonging
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates to care plans and progress notes
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Assist with light domestic duties such as tidying personal spaces and helping with laundry or errands when needed
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to connect effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Basic IT skills for documentation and updating electronic care records
- Ability to work flexibly across different shifts to meet the needs of residents and the organization

Pay: £13.45 per hour
Expected hours: 34.5 per week
