Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting various construction projects. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of physical tasks, assisting with site preparation, equipment operation, and general upkeep. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain construction environments while working in a dynamic and supportive team.
Duties
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators under supervision
- Supporting construction activities by preparing sites, digging trenches, and moving materials using appropriate machinery and manual labour
- Conducting general maintenance tasks including cleaning tools and equipment, repairing minor faults, and ensuring safety standards are met
- Assisting with the installation of new features or structures as required
- Supporting team members with day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality standards
- No formal qualifications are required; however, relevant experience or skills in construction or gardening will be considered a plus
