About the Role
We're excited to be recruiting a Recruitment Administrator to join our team at Cedar Health and Wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused individual looking to build a career in recruitment, HR and compliance within the health and social care sector.
As Recruitment Administrator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring we recruit safe, suitable and values-driven individuals to support adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. You will support the delivery of a professional, efficient and fully compliant recruitment service, ensuring all recruitment and onboarding activity is completed in line with safer recruitment requirements.
Working closely with the Recruitment Manager, hiring managers and candidates, you'll coordinate the recruitment process from advertising through to onboarding, ensuring all pre-employment checks, documentation and approvals are completed accurately and within required timescales.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of safeguarding, compliance and delivering an excellent candidate experience.

What You'll Be Doing
As Recruitment Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Recruitment Manager with all aspects of recruitment and onboarding administration.
- Coordinating recruitment activity from vacancy approval through to employment commencement.
- Advertising vacancies and managing candidate applications.
- Arranging interviews and coordinating communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Conducting and verifying safer recruitment checks, including:
- Enhanced DBS checks
- Adult Barred List checks
- Right to Work checks
- Employment references
- Qualification verification
- Employment history checks
- Ensuring no candidate progresses through the recruitment process without the appropriate checks and approvals in place.
- Issuing contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment, onboarding and compliance records.
- Monitoring outstanding recruitment actions and proactively following up candidates, referees and managers.
- Managing recruitment inboxes and responding to candidate enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Supporting visa and right-to-work compliance processes.
- Preparing recruitment reports and supporting audits and inspections.
- Ensuring all recruitment files are complete, compliant and audit-ready.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the recruitment function.
- Promoting safe recruitment practices and safeguarding standards throughout the organisation.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and passionate about delivering a safe, compliant and professional recruitment service.
- Previous experience within a recruitment, HR, compliance or administration role.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and safer recruitment practices.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Experience using recruitment, HR or applicant tracking systems.
- Previous experience completing pre-employment checks is desirable.
- Experience within health and social care is desirable.
- Knowledge of safer recruitment requirements is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
- Role is subject to an Enhanced DBS and satisfactory pre-employment checks.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts), with flexibility required for the needs of the business.
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
