We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Senior Team Leader to inspire and guide our care team within a vibrant care home environment. This pivotal role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional senior Team leader and fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere for both residents and staff. As a Senior Team Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, implementing personalized care and monitoring practice and promoting effective communication across all levels of the team. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of life for our residents, making a meaningful difference every day.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of care staff, promoting teamwork, motivation, and professional development
- Oversee the implementation and review of personalized care plans to meet each resident’s unique needs
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards
- Facilitate clear communication between residents, families, staff, and external healthcare professionals
- Support staff in managing daily tasks, including medication administration and activity coordination
- Conduct regular supervision sessions, performance reviews, and training to enhance team skills
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the standard of senior care provided
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a care home or senior care setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Knowledge of care plans development and implementation
- Familiarity with IT systems used in care management for documentation and reporting purposes
- Experience in leading a team in a care services regulated environment
